What you are buying

A personal, non-exclusive licence to use Kopast 1.x on up to 3 Macs that you own or control, for as long as you like. You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself.

The trial

Kopast runs with every feature for 14 days without a licence key. When the trial ends the app stops capturing new items; the history you already have stays on your disk and can still be exported or deleted.

Updates

Every 1.x release — fixes and new features alike — is included and installs itself. A new major version arrives roughly every 18–24 months and is a paid upgrade, discounted about 50% for existing owners. Your 1.x licence keeps working regardless; nothing stops if you decline the upgrade.

Refunds

Thirty days, no questions, no form. Email [set PUBLIC_EMAIL_DOMAIN] and the refund is issued. Refunding revokes the licence key.

Payment

Orders are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited as the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, collects any VAT or sales tax, and their buyer terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in US dollars.

What you may not do

  • Share, resell or publish your licence key.
  • Reverse engineer the licensing in order to bypass it.
  • Redistribute the app, modified or otherwise, as your own.

Using Kopast on a work Mac is fine. Buying one key for a team is not — each person needs their own.

Warranty and liability

Kopast is provided as is. It is a clipboard history, not a backup: keep anything you cannot afford to lose somewhere it is actually backed up. To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you bought as a consumer your statutory rights are untouched.

Note for Rakesh, delete before launch: a plain-language draft, not legal advice. Add the legal entity, its address, and the governing law before you take real money.
